July Round-Up

Can you believe that we are just over halfway through this year?! We are so excited to see what the remainder of 2021 will bring… Our pop ups are thriving and they are only set to get busier!

Here’s what you missed out on in July… just in case you didn't get the chance to pop by one of our pop ups. We hope seeing the range of businesses we’ve worked with this month will inspire you to take a leap of faith on your business and find out more about a pop up near to you and maybe even open the doors yourself...

Carlisle- The Lanes Pop Up

David Phillips (3rd - 17th July)

Kicking off this month in Carlisle we had David Phillips back with us. David curates a fabulous range of local artists in the pop up shop and this pop up was no different. The collection presented something for everyone and we for one loved the range on offer!

Bricks in Bloom (17th July - 6th August)

We are so happy to welcome back Bricks in Bloom again! After a successful week in June, Leigha is now back for three weeks. In case you missed it last time, Bricks in Bloom offer a huge range of lego, gifts and even the opportunity to make your own lego figurine on offer within the pop up! We’re sure this pop up will be popular with families as Leigha offers plenty to occupy children (A total winner now that the summer holidays have started!).

The shop looks amazing and you’re in luck! There is still plenty of time to drop by… we can’t recommend it enough!

Chester- Chester Pop Up

Modern Art Chester (19th July - 8th August)

You may have read about our Chester based pop up if you’re local! We were so lucky to be featured in The Standard and on Dee Radio, we hope the feature will bring even more supporters to the shop as we have a range of fabulous names this summer.

We are super thrilled to be kicking it all off with Modern Art Chester. Modern Art Chester joins us for three weeks and will offer the opportunity to purchase and view a range of artwork from their in-house artists. Juliet, the owner of Modern Art Chester will also be offering the exclusive opportunity to purchase artwork from Cheshire-based guest artists.

If you’re Cheshire based you’re in luck! There is still plenty of time to get yourself down to our Chester pop up and check out Modern Art Chester.

Altrincham- SQ Pop Up

Our Altrincham pop up has continued to provide an exciting opportunity to a range of local businesses, and July has been super busy!

Suki Koko (12th - 18th July)

Suki Koko took over the space after Cheshire Paints and brought a range of independent brands to our pop up shop and we were loving it! Whether you obsess over bold prints by the likes Eleanor Bowmer and Sooshichacha or you love finding something unique for the house, there was so much to discover and fall in love with. Louise, owner of Suki Koko, set up the shop beautifully and made the space so inviting for all, it really was a joy for all!

Emiko Studios (19th July - 1st August)

Following Suki Koko, Emiko Studios joins us for two weeks. Their pop up focuses on offering a range of products by various female independent sellers around Manchester.

Emiko Studios themselves produce unique unisex clothing and have a gorgeous collection on show in the space. Time it right and you can even witness pieces of clothing being made right before your eyes. It doesn’t get much better than that!

You have until Sunday to go and check out all on offer so don't miss out!

Workshops with Louise Powers

Although not July related, we wanted to give a special shoutout to Louise Powers, who will be returning to the SQ Pop Up in August and offering a range of workshops.

Not only will she be bringing her colourful range back to Stamford Quarter, she will also be hosting workshops where you can make your own terracotta pot or silk scarf. Louise will also be offering watercolouring workshops too.

We can’t wait to see our pop up shop turn into a workshop space and we hope to see you there. We really love the fact that our spaces are multifunctional and we hope everyone makes the most of this opportunity. Spaces are limited so we are urging everyone to book a space whilst you can!

*NEW!*

Remember in our last round up where we touched on our new upcoming opportunities? Well, the wait is over! Harrogate and The Potteries Pop Up are here!

We are super excited to open the doors and welcome independents local to Harrogate and Hanley into our spaces. We can’t wait to see even more independents conquer the high street!

We are hoping to have these spaces ready by Autumn, but the calendars for the remainder of 2021 are open and ready to book.
